You are going on vacation and want to bring multiple bicycles on the bike carrier at the back of your motorhome or caravan without damaging them. With this bicycle cover, you ensure that the bikes are protected from the weather during the trip.

 

This protective cover is suitable for transporting 2 to 3 bicycles.

 

Bicycle cover material

Thanks to the strong material, the bicycle cover is designed to withstand the weather and can take a beating. The bike carrier cover is made of 200D ripstop polyester with 3000mm PU coating. This means the bicycle cover is UV resistant and water repellent.

It is a heavy protective cover with ventilation holes. The dimensions are 3300 X 650 X 800 mm.

An additional advantage is that the protective cover has a holder for a marking plate. The cover also has a transparent window through which the marking plate is visible.

 

Marking plates are meant to indicate that you are carrying cargo on the back of your caravan or motorhome. In this case, bicycles. A marking plate is not mandatory in the Netherlands. However, for your own safety, we recommend that you always use a marking plate. In Italy and Spain, a marking plate is mandatory. 

 

Easy to use

You pull the protective cover over the bicycles, which are on the bike carrier at the back of the motorhome or caravan, until they are fully covered. Attach the cover to the bike carrier using the two elastic bands with hooks. And the journey can begin!

 

Once you arrive at your destination, you can easily store the protective cover in the included storage bag.

 

Complete the protective cover

If you do not have one yet, it is also good to purchase a marking plate for your own safety. The marking plates recommended by HABA are shown below under the “Related products” heading.

 

In order to fasten the bike carrier cover around the bicycles as tightly as possible, we also recommend lashing straps. This provides additional protection for the bicycles during transport on the caravan or motorhome and contributes to the service life of the bicycle cover.
