Locks and safes
A quality lock protects your valuables from theft. Campsites can be targets for thieves, and a robust lock acts as a deterrent and gives you peace of mind during your adventures.
Consider the size of the items you want to store, the space available in your vehicle and the security features of the safe. A good safe should be both burglar- and fire-resistant and ideally have a built-in alarm system.
Safe on the Road
Always drive within speed limits, make sure your vehicle is regularly serviced and checked for problems. Avoid abrupt braking, and practice driving with a caravan or RV before traveling long distances. Make sure all cargo is properly secured.
If possible, park in a well-lit and high-traffic area. Use quality locks and safes to secure valuables, and be vigilant of your surroundings. It is also advisable to check local safety advisories or warnings for certain areas.
